information communications technology
Teaching and learning needs to be relevant to the students lives, thus the implementation of ICT into the classroom is essential, as it plays a crucial role in lives of everyone in the present day. Within my classroom I will incorporate ICT use as often as possible yet only in the circumstances where it will enhance the teaching and learning of that topic. I will utilize it as a teaching resource, a learning tool and as a form to enhance student engagement.
I have had experience implementing and observing the following :
Smartboard - videos, youTube, interative games, quizes, online stories ect iPads - literacy and numeracy apps, student projects Flip cameras - presentations, projects Computers/Laptops - typing writing, online games ie. mathletics, games Microsoft programs - creating presentations, projects, writing tasks, maths tasks Classroom blogs - sharing work and providing feedback and many more. |
"Kara always made sure that she had the right resources such as websites and was quick to use technology wherever possible"
